Synopsis:
Apart from being a singer, Miriam Yeung has shown much comic talent as an actress with her performances in films like Love Undercover and Drink Drank Drunk. Now she goes on to star in the Mainland drama Love At First Fight, a kung fu comedy with a gender twist - for a significant portion of the drama, Miriam Yeung's character is disguised as a man! This 2006 TV drama sees her collaboration with handsome Taiwanese actor Wallace Huo, loved by many fans since he led the cast of At the Dolphin Bay, plus young American-born martial arts expert George Wu. Miriam Yeung has to participate in plenty of fighting scenes, while Wallace Huo tries out his first comedy. Miriam Yeung stars as the Wu family's youngest child who has nine elder sisters. But she is raised as a boy rather than a girl as only sons can inherit the Wu family kung fu. She appears as masculine as a man and no one discovers her real identity. Her childhood friend Sau (Wallace Huo) always wants to marry a rich girl, and his chance finally comes when the Lei family is hunting for a husband for the young Miss Lei through a kung fu tournament. Surprisingly, Wu becomes their son-in-law in the end by accident! While Miss Lei falls in love with Wu, Wu, actually a girl, has a crush on Miss Lei's brother. Things become even more complicated when Sau discovers Wu is a girl!
